I'm out of words. Simply beyond magnificent. So heavy yet with so much deep emotion, melancholy, power and hope. Bass building a warm wall in background, drums dancing a different rhythm yet fused so nicely with rest, guitar painting a smooth texture that lulls you in so effortlessly, just everything working together in it's own way to take your breathe away and make your heart soar. I blast this loud so often to let all my anger, worries, sadness and troubles get drowned in this blissful river.

Honestly, halfway through 2023, this album is still probably my post-rock album to beat. Lesotho's Summer Wars was on my blog's best of 2021 releases, and every ounce of promise that was there is fulfilled here and more. There's so much energy and beauty here - dynamic, gorgeous, heartrending, empowering, just like traveling through the dying light.
